Maybe our joy is missing because we have no righteousness?

Maybe its wandered away because we are without peace?

For whatever reason, we find ourselves without joy, we know it calls out to us from the very heart of the Trinty God.

the Fruit of the Holy Spirit is.....

Love, Joy, Peace.....

Joy and Peace are making deep friendships with LOVE in the Holy Spirit.

I was substitute teaching at a favorite place in Redmond, Central Christian School, and looked on the wall in the 5th-grade classroom while the students worked quietly.

For the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness.....

That's all I needed to read. My heart and mind started searching out my life and my attitudes. I realized I wanted more and of these amazing qualities. I wanted more fruit of the Spirit in my heart, mind, soul, and strength. While the students worked I encountered the Lord and his awesomely beautiful favor and love that crowns us in his joy.

Then the more compelling truth landed on me. This is what Jesus is like. This is who he is, a witness in heaven and on earth of the endless fruit of God's character empowered in a people he calls his own. Empowered in me as I make a garden of abiding and delight in the Lord. My real motivation was to be like my friend and Master Jesus. This is a hunger and thirst that he satisfies again and again. The spring flowers burst out in all their fragrance and delicate beauty and my heart hides away in the abiding love of Jesus.

The spring flowers are breaking out everywhere. Now is the time to bear fruit in the Holy Spirit. Today is a great day to walk more deeply in the JOY of the LORD.
