The end of our rope is the beginning of Kingdom glory, grace and empowerment in the Spirit.
As much as we deem ourselves revivalists, we have fences, boarders, and constructed life that can hold us back from the new things God is doing and the new waves of his Spirit.
When new things start springing up, will we see, move, change, and respond?
We tell ourselves we will. But the truth meets us when we are faced with the Fullness of Christ a fresh.
When we have opportunity to enter into the new, the past and our fixed present boarders tend to tell us we don't have the strength for such things. In truth we don't. But as in the past, the Spirit renews, refreshes and empowers us into the new with life giving power as we respond to God in faith.
He is always turning the DAY into the WAY. Turning visitation into habitation.
A move of the Holy Spirit is always predicated by pouring oneself out as a drink offering.
When the Spirit moves our lives typically face a boarder of some kind.
What we have not been able to give.
We limit the free flowing river of love and grace by holding our resources instead of generously pouring them out to God as an offering. We evaluate our abilities based on the flesh and not the Spirit, on the world and not the Kingdom of boundless victory. A generous free flow of giving is the river we need free flowing in our spirit.
What we have not been able to go past in strength or life change.
There is no limitation in the Kingdom of Jesus Christ. But we shore ourselves up and build around us immovable provisions for the flesh. When in fact a move of the Holy Spirit makes no provision for the flesh. Strength from God is provided when we walk in faith and strength from God is needed. Often we simply limit ourselves for our own comfort and perceived resources. God's resources are unlimited. Let faith and new action knock down the fences of our perceived strength. When it does, remarkably, we receive a new strength, new doorways, new power in the Spirit.
What we have constructed for consolation and physical resting.
We build lifestyles around us in balance and then overlook the wisdom of the new things God is doing. They cry out for the air of the Fullness of Christ but find the limiting boarders of our strength. Crying out is wisdom saying,
"I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength."
We say we are acting in wisdom, when in fact we are acting in earthly wisdom and a fleshly mindset. When the Spirit moves, the best response is "yes God". He will be all the provision, strength, power we need to walk abundantly. Earthly wisdom calculates based on present physical and mental resources. These are not the calculations of the Holy Spirit in the wisdom, truth and power of the work of Jesus Christ. Resurrected power is what drives the Saints. Ascension sight and wisdom is what fuels the hope and walking of the Saints. Worldly wisdom is foolishness to God.
The will of God is our strength. The love of God is our country. The power of God is our surrender and hope and life and breath.
Sometimes, all we need is a new season change. Something as simple as a schedule change or doing what we've told ourselves we do not have the strength for.....
The simplicity of the Holy Spirit is clearly portrayed as steps, as walking. Walk in the Spirit. It is tangible simple next action. Action described as walking. Walking requires steps. Steps into what? The Spirit is so clear in directing and leading us, yet we are commanded to see the new thing as it springs up.
The invitation to Fullness in Christ is going to smash every fence, boarder, limitation, presented and invite us into the place of MORE.
Unless the seed falls into the ground and dies.....
To live in a move of the Spirit requires......
A yes.
An ending.
A Welcome
A Surrender
A step of faith
Look forward with eyes filled with Abundance, Boundless, Victorious vision in Jesus.
