There is a narrow way, a door, open to all but missed and overlooked by many.
Everything in the world is linked to elemental spirits.
Vain, fallen, empty, shadows.
Unable to satisfy fully or completely,
these elemental spirits fill up the cultures of the world enslaving subtly with captivity.
We learn the ways of these basic principles.
It's the water we are born in.
We breathe it freely but it enslaves with each breathe.
Tightening the grip.
Sowing deeper the mindsets of slavery.
When the elemental spirits say "we are free" they mean free to follow the liar. Free to indulge the flesh and sin at the core of fallen humanity.
One person, One face, is linked with the narrow way.
Jesus.
The LIGHT
He is the alternative VOICE.
He paid for a path to freedom with his own blood.
His Kingdom is a rule and reign of loving kindness.
He opened a new and living way for us that allows us direct access to the depths and riches of the Father God.
We can be shaped by sin, the world or the Devil or
We can let someone else shape us.
This identifying with ONE in a world filled with millions of elemental choices other than the ONE makes us feel as though we are strangers, aliens. There is an open door.
There is a King standing and knocking.
Heaven is open to your deepest desires to know God.
Yes.
It can look like a war sometimes.
Yet in the midst of battles, we see his face.
We walk with him.
We become like him.
Becoming like him is the heart cry of every one touched in the core by the love of Jesus.
We face off every day with elemental spirits. Three entrenched enemies.
Here is a quick breakdown on what they are.
The World - The Fallen and Fading World order - A new heaven and new earth are on the way. Isaiah 9:7
- Kosmos - Greek word for world and world order I John 2:15-17
- World Order - the order of things of the world, culture, nations, enslaved in the flesh and the bondage's of sin mindsets. Passing away. I John 2:17
- Strongholds - structures of captivity in culture, family, government that consistently enslave people, put out the fires of first love and advance of the Gospel and keep people in sin struggles. 2 Corinthians 10:4
- Thoughts and mindsets of fallen humanity- The "ways" of the flesh, fallen mindsets and sin informed and distorted vision. Galatians 4:3
- Patterns and ways of acting and living with sin at the root enlivened and held up by elemental spirits. Galatians 4:3 Everything outside of love and devotion to Christ and doing the will of the Father is elemental spirit controlled and informed.
- Babylon - the economic fallen order enslaved to prostitution -
After these things I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was illumined with his glory. 2And he cried out with a mighty voice, saying, "Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great! She has become a dwelling place of demons and a prison of every unclean spirit, and a prison of every unclean and hateful bird. 3"For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the passion of her immorality, and the kings of the earth have committed acts of immorality with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich by the wealth of her sensuality."… Rev 18:2f
Measure what you are connecting with in the world through the eyes of wisdom and fruit it brings. It is a much sweeter fruit than anything you've ever tasted.
But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.The Devil- Destined for Lock Up - stripped and defeated. Col 2:15
- Fallen Angel - sinner - liar - I John 3:8
- One being - One location - One understanding - lies and half truths - deceiver - 1 Peter 5:8 The Devil is not like God. He is created. He is limited. He is overwhelmingly consumed with being a criminal. He cannot think outside the box of lies, deceit and destruction.
- The Great Accuser of the brethren Revelation 12:10 Accusation is his breathing apparatus. He speaks lies about everything and everyone. Learn to discern the truth by walking in the Spirit and richly dwelling in the Word of Christ. Col 3
- Out numbered - Limited number of demonic agents with him - 1/3 Revelation 12:4
- Defeated - Stripped - headed to destruction and judgement - Revelation 20:1-3
Sin - Crucified and defeated with Christ on the Cross - and so Death lost it's sting.
"who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our
works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was granted us
in Christ Jesus from all eternity, 10but
now has been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus, who
abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the
gospel, 11for which I was appointed a preacher and an apostle and a teacher.… 2 Timothy 1:10-11
Sin is dominion. Power. Held up by the world's fallen strongholds.
Jesus destroyed it. It has no power any more.
The end result of sin. Death. Is defeated as well. We go into life with Christ forever.
Many believers focus their identity as Sinners saved by grace. And we have been saved and are being saved by grace through faith.
Our core identity is not the past slavery we lived in.
Israel carried a slave mindset out through the Red sea. Then into the desert.
They saw miracles galore.
They heard the Voice. But they did not mix the message with faith.
Don't be like them in this way.
We are invited into Promise in the face of Jesus.
Called to walk in Promise by faith.
Invited to explore the depths and riches of God in Trust.
We passed from the dominion of darkness into the freedom of the Kingdom of light and love.
Our new identity is through adoption as sons and daughters.
We are called into ruling and reigning with Jesus.
We receive a Kingdom, which the Father is pleased to give us, and bring it forth to a world devoid of the reality of the LOVE that shapes eternity.
who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the kingdom of the Son of his love;
Col 1:13
You can do this because Jesus is with you and he has already done all of it!
He did it for you and I.
That is enough for a worship time anytime.
This Kingdom we are part of is
Righteousness
Peace
Joy
in the power of the Holy Spirit.
