911 – 3 Mistakes the Jezebel Spirit Would Love for Any of Us to Make

Sonya Day - Prophetic Artist - Amazing

911 - You've encountered a Jezebel Attack

3 Mistakes that Could Cost You

Mistake #1 -  Using the Weapons of the World to Combat him/her.

No doubt you are now engaged in a spiritual battle.  But the weapons at your disposal are not the same as we carry in the world day to day.

The Jezebel wants us to engage with worldly weapons.  Don't.  The redemptive power of grace works in the wisdom of the Lord setting prisoners free.  Nothing can be done without Jesus.

"For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, 4for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. 5We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ…2 Cor 10:4

The Jezebel wants us to engage with worldly weapons.  These are the very weapons this spirit likes to employ to set up the confusion and disruption it sows.   Spirit weapons are different. They are the ARMOR of God, and activated by faith, hope and love.  They are founded in the overcoming victory of the Lord Jesus.  When employed they produce a deeper and healthy spiritual victory.  When Jesus is present people get set free, come alive in Christ and step into new life and healing.  The victory lies in bringing the Kingdom of God through the authority granted to you in the power, love and wisdom of the Holy Spirit.

The greatest pressure in a Jezebel attack is felt personally, emotionally, corporately and spiritually.  That covers a great deal of ground all at once.  This in part why such spiritual attacks are so challenging.   The Holy Spirit has equipped you for victory already.  The Saints at your disposal for council and wisdom are there to bring peace.  The spiritual support you already possess needs to be drawn upon not for coalition building but for building you up in the Lord and receiving ministry.

Set aside: Control, manipulation, politicking, talking with those outside the problem, slandering and pulling down.

t    Don't make the mistake of picking up these weapons.  They will not bring about the glory God is seeking to establish, the righteousness he is aiming for and the greater discernment the Body will be called to grow up into.  Remember, Jesus stripped the Devil of his abilities.  Now all he has is deception.  This is a time to dwell richly in the word of Christ.  Col 3:1-4

Mistake #2Entering the Mindset and world painted by the Jezebel.

Don’t be drawn into the picture and pathways painted by the Jezebel.  This is called the Tail wagging the dog.  The Jezebel spirit seeks to build a path and an environment into which the attack will lead you if you chose to follow.  But we follow Jesus and walk in the Spirit.  These are two contradictory roads.  There is a benefit in this.

Discernment is relatively easy if we move away from the charged emotions and survival mentalities that often plague us in a Jezebel attack.  Slow down.  Wait for the Lord.

It is vitally important that you remain on the platform given to you by the Holy Spirit and that you move, act and follow the Spirit's leading in any steps you take to address the situation.

Kingdom authority is given to us by Jesus. It cannot be taken from us except by him.  And the gifts and assignments are irrevocable.  (Rom      A quick look at the life of the lead apostle, Peter, will shed some light on the New Testament reality of grace, forgiveness, and calling.   Peter outright rejected Jesus, said he didn't know him, and denied him in public three times.  Peter was rebuked for his vision of the mission of Jesus after revealing the Messiah by the Father's voice.  Peter was rebuked by Paul for siding with the Judaizers in Antioch and defaming the core nature of the Gospel.  Peter was Jesus' lead man after all those mishaps.  He remained so in spite of his failure and limited vision at any given moment.

In the New Testament we are saved by grace through faith and called to a life of obedience and sacrifice of service to Jesus.  We receive rewards for our service.  We become like him in our walk of life.  Sometimes that means we die, carry the sufferings of Jesus and for love sacrifice.  We follow the way of love and eagerly desire spiritual gifts.

  •       Don't argue with the Jezebel from her point of view or on the platform created by the attack.  This can be the very words thrown at leaders or servants of the church or ministries.  Each point presented seeks to draw you into a course of action and thinking that most likely is not truth from Scripture.  Weigh each point from the point of view it comes with.  Is it the spirit of God (Strengthen, Encourage, Comfort, along the lines of exiting words and rhema) the spirit of man (speaking without unction from the brokenness and unhealed places of heart, soul, mind and spirit) the enemy's voice (directly contradicting Scripture and sound teach derived from the Word).
  •       Don't adopt the mindset of the Jezebel in evaluating ministry, people, or situations.     James 3:17-18.  I Corinthians 14:1  The Spirit encourages, strengthens and comforts us in the power of the Cross, Resurrection and Ascension of Jesus.   We live from a different perspective.  Looking at the unseen as well as the seen.    The Jezebel is unable to perceive the Holy Spirit's intentions, but we are.  We have the mind of Christ.

  •       Psalms 27 - time to slow down and wait for the Lord.  This is an active posture of engaging with the mind of Christ, our network of supporting wise counsel and our support of accountability.  The goal is to accomplish the will of the Lord.  The goal is to bring the Kingdom of Heaven.  The goal is to see the advance of the Gospel and the new measure of promise and blessing poured out on all who will continue to walk in the Spirit.  This can only be accomplished by linking and walking with Jesus.  John 15:5

The way of the Gospel is a way of peace.  Peace makers who sow in peace will reap a harvest of righteousness.  James 3:17-18

Mistake #3 –Allowing the Jezebel attack to undermine your faith and regard for the prophetic ministry.

One of the core attacks of the Jezebel is upon the prophetic ministry.  In history this spirit nearly wiped out the prophetic troup of Israel.  Is that a big deal?  Yes.  The ministry of the prophet at that time was to carry the very words of God to the people.  They were given direct revelation from the Lord to impart to Israel in times when she had wondered from the teaching, worship and regular blessings of the priesthood and temple.
Jezebel replaced the Lord's prophets with her own prophets of Baal under the authority of the King.  A false god and idol to which Israel was forced to worship, Baal worship eventually entered the Temple in the Time of Jeremiah the prophet.
The New Testament ministry of prophecy is very different from the Old Testament, but equally vital.  Of five ministries given to the church, the Fivefold ministers of Ephesians 4:11, one of them is called part of the foundation of the church (Eph 2:20).  The prophet.

Jesus identifies the prophetic voice as the one directly under attack by the Jezebel.

"Nevertheless, I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophet. By her teaching she misleads my servants into sexual immorality and the eating of food sacrificed to idols."     (Rev 2:20)

Typically when the church encounters troubles and difficulty around a particular topic we tend to shut that topic or area down rather than learn and build from the mishaps.  This approach is counted on by the Jezebel spirit.  The demise and ruin or defaming of the prophetic ministry is a core target for the Jezebel spirit.   Interestingly we are given direct command in the New Testament not to despise prophecy.

"Do not quench the Spirit; 20do not despise prophetic utterances. 21But examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good;…"  I Thessalonians 5:20

The clear admonition is directly tied with quenching the Spirit of God.  Despising prophetic utterances.  Prophetic ministry is front and center in the New Testament church.

Then he said to me, "Write, 'Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.'" And he said to me, "These are true words of God." 10Then I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, "Do not do that; I am a fellow servant of yours and your brethren who hold the testimony of Jesus; worship God. For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy."  Rev 19:9-10

The Jezebel attack will directly confront such vibrant utterance and or the whole church family devoted to the prophetic voice.  Undermining confidence in the prophetic voice, defaming and belittling the prophetic until it is no longer trusted or a blessing to believers is a core approach for the Jezebel.  The strengthening, encouragement and comfort of the church is the exact opposite of what a Jezebel attack sows.  This is a key point of discernment for the Body of Christ.

The prophetic ministry is a great aid to discerning and walking forward in a Jezebel attack.  It is clear the prophetic church is a powerful spiritual force to reveal hearts and bring people into the fullness of Christ.  (I Cor 14:1)

If you have prophetic voices involved in regular ministry enlist their wisdom and discernment for addressing the Jezebel attack.  These should be regular and existing relationships.  Not new relationships.  The prophetic ministry needs seasoning over time and requires testing and approving.  Work within the relationships you have in place to discern and hear the Lord for the circumstances.

Is a Future and a Hope Condidtional?

Jeremiah 29:11

"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

I love this verse as much as anyone.
It is one of the great looks into the Father's heart for all of us.

Typically though, we don't read on even a little bit further.

"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back from captivity."  Jeremiah 29:12-14

Open Doors usually open with some knocking. The ongoing life opened by the plans of the Father invite us into seeking him with an undivided heart.

 When.....? Then....?
That sounds conditional.  Or is it an invitation with a promise?
Something we have to believe, walk in and take hold of?
I think it is the latter.   We can find the Lord in his own words and promise when....

"you seek me with all your heart."

I'll be the first to say that my heart wanders on many occasions and slips away from simple focus and love for the Father often.

"Watch over your heart with all diligence, For from it flow the springs of life." Proverbs 4:23

I continually and regularly am involved in worship, in waiting on the Lord in his presence and so can check my heart.  When I find it amiss I start inviting the Spirit to have a look.

Search me.  You know me.  Ps 139
The Spirit is perfectly able to guide us into all TRUTH.

So, I listen and take steps from there.

Heart trouble leads to all kinds of slightly off attitudes and postures.
These in turn make us open and available for the Enemy to slip us a debilitating offense, a self-righteous judgement or a grumbling complaint.

The Love of God is boundless and available to us in Jesus Christ,
and it is conditional - "repent and believe".
Completely conditional but never earned?
Oops.  Did I kick the sacred cow?
We have endless access to the love of God and he gives it to us without judgement in the Blood of Jesus Christ.

Without the blood covenant in his love through Jesus we don't have access to the Father.
We are dead in our sins.  Totally reversible condition.  Totally reliant on repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.

Kids never fall out of love.
But there are usually plenty of conditions for functioning in the family.

"But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin. 6No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him."  I John 3:5-6

But they sure can cause a heap of trouble and find themselves requiring discipline.

Possibly we have this "unconditional love" teaching a bit out wack?
Possibly it is a perfect teaching to bring in the masses but not make disciples of Jesus?

"Then Jesus said to His disciples, "If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me. 25"For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.…"  Matthew 16:24

Are there any conditions in the Kingdom of God?

Grace is unmerited favor.  Which we access by faith.
"so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; 9not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.…"
Eph 2:8

Forgiveness is available to all - upon believing in Jesus Christ.

Without faith it is impossible to please God.  Heb 11:6

First Love - when we've fallen from it requires repentance to get it back.  (Rev 2:5)

Proof of love for God comes in the form of keeping his commands....

"If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I proceeded forth and have come from God, for I have not even come on My own initiative, but He sent Me. 4

If you love me you will......
"If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.  John 14:15

To the one who overcomes.....(Revelation 2-3)
We are called to follow Jesus to the end on many occasions in the New Testament.

It's clear we are called into a life filled with the boundless love of God.
But that is just it.   Called into a life.   Without entering into life through faith in Jesus Christ experiences of his love, his calls for us to follow, and all the good healing amounts to a short lived encounter.  We die.

We were made for eternal life.  It is worth losing all to find the ONE person that brings every heart desire together.

What do you think?  Have we taken the idea of unconditional love a bit father than it really goes?  Or did we just make the reality of bit out of wack?

Intimacy with Jesus Beyond Religion?

Where we begin our thoughts has a great deal to do with where we end in them.

When it comes to intimacy with Jesus and prayer....

Beginning with religion as a foundation for prayer and intimacy can lead us directly into.....

Guilt - it is impossible to disciple ourselves.  We try.  But the lover of our souls is Alive. He has sent us his Spirit. A wise counselor, close and full of wisdom, to lead us in following Jesus. Prayer is the air of heaven.  It is the voice of war in the deepest intimacy with Jesus.  When we are working prayer to please God we are missing the powerful grace it carries.  We abide as Sons and Daughter in Christ and the inheritance he possess.  In His victory by blood there is a resting place, abiding glory, for every member of his Body.  Prayer is joy beyond imagination.  It's abiding with Jesus.

Today, built on religion, pragmatism, have to's and the lists about "me" it is lost to striving and guilt.  Have you experienced a friendship when one person does all the talking, never asks you a question about you and always asks you for things? No wonder God gets quiet sometimes.

Guilt about prayer?  Go back and find paths of freedom and Joy then start building your prayer life.  Pray by, in and through grace and find the deepest rest known to mankind.  Relationships are two way.  Worship, give thanks, bless and honor the Lord.  Listen.  Follow the Spirit in your prayer time.  Everything about prayer is informed by the Cross, Resurrection and Ascension of the Lord Jesus.  There is nothing negative about his presence or abiding with Jesus.  The flesh carries enmity.  Prayer is the undiscovered habitation. Ephesians 2:22

"For thus the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel, has said, "In repentance and rest you will be saved, In quietness and trust is your strength."  Isaiah 30:15

PerformanceIt is a deep trap to perform for God or anyone else.  Performing won't increase his love for us.  Performing won't make others love you more.  Finding the voice of God is key to overcoming performance.
Do flowers perform?

Obedience replaces performance and paves a highway of joy and peace.  When a servant receives an assignment from the Father,  just as Jesus did in the Cross, the purifying, humbling, grace of God meets us measure for measure, step for step.  What flows from walking in the voice of God is immeasurable joy and freedom.  The joy of being co-laborers with Jesus.  Deepening connection and streams of living water witness to his active grace. As we apply faith to our assignment grace increase and faith thrives.

We receive "a participation" in the love of the Trinity.  What true citizen has no share in the advance of the country?  And each of us has been given grace from the measure of Jesus' victory to obediently pour out by faith, generosity and love on the world (Eph 4:7).  Freely we have received, freely we are to give.

To leave performance behind is to take on the quest. The quest given to us in his grace. (Eph 4:7) It is with our offering and sacrifice of love mixed with faith and obedience that we truely discover the hiding place of prayer and his presence.

A smokey faith filled temple is the desire of God.

Don't rest until you have your assignment identified.  Make his call and election sure.

Dry Deserts  -  starting with religion will always lead you to a dry desert of fatigue.  Relying on ourselves, our abilities in the natural, our strength, our mind, and attempting to carry the Kingdom, leads to debilitating fatigue.

When we are abiding in his love, walking in the Spirit and exercising faith in the grace we've received.....constant energy from heaven fills us up.
Burning out is a sure sign we are carrying things that don't belong to us.  Jesus said, "take my yoke upon you. For my yoke is easy and my burden light."  We hear those words but they don't register.  Light.  Easy.  We say it is hard to follow Christ.  On the flesh sure its hard.  It is death and the end of the flesh.  We need to remember that we were rescued from death.  The lives we were living were terrible, filled with the reaping of sins harvest.  Painful and enslaving, we rejoiced exceedingly at the freedom and forgiveness give in the Gospel and blood of Christ.  So now we want to go back to Egypt?

Yes.  The world screams at us all day long.  Telling us a completely different story from Jesus.  Calling us back to "living" and sin.  Demanding we follow the flow of the culture in all its fallen focus.  It is so  important to secure your hope in regular consistent vision of the grace of God and all the benefits in his presence.  Ps 73

Surely God is good to Israel,
to those who are pure in heart.

But as for me, my feet had almost slipped;
I had nearly lost my foothold.
For I envied the arrogant
when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.

The enemy has sown a sublte lie that the Christian community has swallowed completely.  You hear it everywhere.  How hard it is to serve the Lord.

In Spirit and truth it is not hard at all.  Our spirit reborn in Christ, set free in his blood and filled with the Holy Spirit breathes the air of heaven with ease.  We need to proclaim the truth.  The way of the Lord Jesus is the easy way.  The way of sin is trouble, difficulty and a deafening lack of peace.  The way of Jesus, once we have died with him, is filled with resurrection power and life.  Our spirit was made for fellowship with God.  Our hearts were made to love him without reservation.  The world is dry bones if you search there for living water. Only Jesus can truly satisfy the thirst of the spirit.

This "offense" when rooted leads us out of prayer, away from his presence and into a dry desert.  The rivers of living water do not flow freely in the land of offense.  The deceptions of the enemy always lead us away from love, zeal for his house, passion and devotion to the presence of God and the will of the Father.

But we make a fatal error leaving behind the commands of Jesus and obedience to the grace he has given us to steward.

"Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.” John 14:21

Don't let the world carry away your holy things
The good news is we do not have to abide in such a land.  We have a boundless grace available to us.  We have forgiveness.  We have repentance.  We have the blood of Jesus covering us and washing us and making us new.  We have membership in the Body of Christ.  We have HOPE secure.
1. learn to let the Spirit take your spiritual temperature - ask Him if you require heart help.

2. Let Grace and passion measure your abiding.  Being around Jesus is amazing.  Nothing can separate you from him.....  So don't let anything.

3. Give yourself to First Love and lose track of time. Being with Jesus is reason enough for prayer.

4. Follow the Spirit in a steady walk and never thirst.  Closely observe your steps.  Are you walking in the Spirit?

5. Explore any lack of hunger, heart problem, or passivity.  Jesus is never passive. He avoids nothing.  He is courageous and fully present.

You were made for total love and boundless relationship with Jesus.

He spent everything he had to restore you to himself.
He surrendered his divine rights to make a way for you to know the Father.
He became poor so we could be rich.
He took all the brutality of the world and our sins upon himself.

This kind of love leave us speechless in worship.
There are no words that can measure up.

Yet he seems to accepts these kind of words ...

I surrender all to you.
Take my life
Let it be a burning fiery offering of love reflecting your glory, truth and love.

Is this the life you are living?
Through faith in Christ Jesus it is ours.
Catching glimpse of even a small part of it will radically change your life here and now.

Abundant - Boundless - Victorious

Think Backward.

Think back from forever.

The end game of the Christian life is forever.

Now,
start heading back to our lives here.

All that people face.

It rises up easily into the face of the eternal, of glory, of grace.

The Gospel makes eternal changes in the heart, mind, spirit of people NOW.

Life is "as we know it".

But.....The life Jesus is bringing in his Kingdom is....

Abundant

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.  John 10:10

"Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and YOU WILL FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS. 30"For My yoke is easy and My burden is light." Matt 11:29-30

"He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, 'From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.'" John 7:38

Jesus answered and said to her, "Everyone who drinks of this water will thirst again; 14but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life."  John 4:14

"Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost.  Isaiah 55:1

"For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. 7There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace, On the throne of David and over his kingdom, To establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness From then on and forevermore. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will accomplish this."  Isaiah 9:6-7

The riches of his glory and love are manifest in Christ to us and through us forever.  The Father has lavished his love on us, calling us children of God through faith in Christ.  I John 3:1   Grace overwhelms sin in abundance.  The goodness of God triumph over every evil.

Boundless

"Although I am less than the least of all the Lord’s people, this grace was given me: to preach to the Gentiles the boundless riches of Christ, 9and to make plain to everyone the administration of this mystery, which for ages past was kept hidden in God, who created all things."  Ephesians 3:8-9

"To all perfection I see a limit, but your commands are boundless."
 Psa 119:96

Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.' Jer 33:3

Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out!  Rom 11:33

United Pursuit says,
"I used to think that I could box you in."

What an awesome and amazing day it is when we come to understand the unsearchable riches and knowledge of God are boundless.  Equally so is the grace, love, and power of Christ Jesus.  He is bringing a Kingdom that will swallow up all others.  In fact he is presently the "King of the Kings of the Earth."  Rev 1
A reality that most believers have no grid for interpreting and interacting with in the lives they live today.   But a mind blowing reality of the Kingdom we are part of.

God is the original positive thinker.  Nothing is impossible with him.
He makes axe heads float and raises dead people to life in their coffins!

If the slightest glimmer of his boundless glory enters into our minds or hearts we are transformed forever!

Knock the doors off your boxy god.  Get your mind informed with the Mind of Christ and the boundless realities of his life in Jesus.

Victorious

2Ch 13:18
The Israelite's were subdued on that occasion, and the people of Judah were victorious because they relied on the LORD, the God of their ancestors.

Psa 20:6
Now this I know: The LORD gives victory to his anointed. He answers him from his heavenly sanctuary with the victorious power of his right hand.

Zec 9:9
Rejoice greatly, Daughter Zion! Shout, Daughter Jerusalem! See, your king comes to you, righteous and victorious, lowly and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.

Rev 2:7
Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.

Rev 2:11
Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. The one who is victorious will not be hurt at all by the second death.

Rev 3:5
The one who is victorious will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out the name of that person from the book of life, but will acknowledge that name before my Father and his angels.

 Rev 21:7

Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children.

Is this the life you are living?
Through faith in Christ Jesus it is ours.
Catching glimpse of even a small part of it will radically change your life here and now.

So How Do We Root Ourselves in Superabundance?

Knowing is not enough.

The Devil knows who God is and still stands opposed to him though he knows his time is short.   Crazy eh?   James 2:19

Mountains are ascended by faith in Christ

Disciples are called to:

Take Hold of the Truth.
Simply hearing the Word does us no good.

We have to take hold of it and put it into practice.

James 1:6
But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.

Therefore, putting aside all filthiness and all that remains of wickedness, in humility receive the word implanted, which is able to save your souls. 22But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves.  James 1:22

So how do we root ourselves in Superabundance?

1) Get rooted and established in LOVE.

God is love.  You and I need to experience that love.  Know it by experience and encounter
not by books and learning or theory.
The love of Jesus is experience-able!
Your love and devotion to Jesus is directly connected to your knowledge of his love!
Col 2:6
"So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, 7rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness."
 How have you received him?
That is the depths of your knowledge of him and his love.
Are you hungry for more of him?

23Jesus replied, Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them. 24Anyone who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.  John 14:23

The ultimate motivation of a Disciple is love. I John 3:16/ John 3:16 /I Cor 14:1
Because that is the Father's ultimate motivation.
Demonstrated in Jesus and empowered in us through the Spirit.
Paul's prayer for us is that we would experience the love of Jesus and be rooted and established in it.

That our knowledge of God would be established in Christ Jesus and in the knowledge, tangible experience and encounter, of his overcoming, victorious love.   Ephesians 3:17-19   Take hold of a life of LOVE.  Find it in the habitation of his presence in the face of Jesus.  Heb 1:1

2) Learn the intentional, active way of REST and WAITING.

Do a quick survey of these things.

Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly - Col 3:16  / Eph 2:22
Habitation - Dwell / Richly.
We all know what these simple words mean.  So how much intention fills your day to bring the Word of Christ into the dwelling place of your life?
People wear Fitbots to see what is happening in their physical lives.
What is your Word Dwelling richly Fitbot?
Get intentional with the Word of Christ and how it dwells in you today.
This is the way into Resting and Waiting.

Be filled with the Holy Spirit - Ephesians 5:18
Go fitbot again.  Slow down and have a look.  How much overflowing and filling of the Spirit are you carrying today?
We are called to a life of continuous filling.
Streams and rivers flow.  They don't stop in a lake.
Be filled and give it away.
This is the pathway to resting and waiting.
Rest and wait on the Holy Spirit.
What is he saying today?
What is He directing you into today in the Word?
How is he calling you to love in this season of your life?

You are a temple.  Make sure there is an offering on the alter.   Rom 12:1-2
INTENTION - the second thing to do is be intentional with the leading and your walking with the Spirit.

3)  Steward the grace, life, Word, and Voice.

God speaks.  Yea, he's not all cramped up inside a little book.

He is alive and living.  Disciple, tap into that!
Isaiah 9:6-7  Look he is bringing a kingdom and government with no end.
Understand he handed out grace from the foundations of the world in his work on the Cross, Resurrection and Ascension that is now imparted to you.
Jesus died and rose from the grave just to let us know he is alive.  He ascended to the heavenly temple and is guiding and directing his Kingdom people Co-laboring with us in bringing his rule and reign; until he returns to rule in the earth.  Eph 1:9-10

Following Jesus is a NOW proposition.  Yes. Right Now.
Put Following first into your life day to day.  Matthew 6:33
So, if he speaks... (John 10) he directs and leads.
What is he leading you in?
What is he calling you uniquely to express about his glory, love and grace?

So, if he speaks he imparts grace to each of us to steward and bring in fullness to the world. Ephesians 4:7
And he has given the Fivefold to be a people full of grace as a gift.  Ephesians 4:11-13
Here are the four disciple descriptors I love to walk in for superabundant ongoing, rivers of living water life.
Follow
Walk
Go
Disciple
Look these up in the New Testament.
Carry them into your prayer and devotional life.  They will keep you focused as you walk boldly into the world each day with the power of the Spirit and the Grace imparted to you. Grace given to express his Kingdom.

Now having been questioned by the Pharisees as to when the kingdom of God was coming, He answered them and said, "The kingdom of God is not coming with signs to be observed; 21nor will they say, 'Look, here it is!' or, 'There it is!' For behold, the kingdom of God is in your midst."

Talk about adventure.
Talk about Mystery
Talk about His power
Talk about eternal life.

 Psalms 1:2

  But his delight
is in the law of the Lord,
and on his law
he meditates
DAY
and
NIGHT
