Foundation Keys to Prayer - Joyfilled Abiding and Kingdom Advancing

Prayer is amazing.

Prayer is filled with joy and laughter.

Prayer is heaven and earth linking in true sight of the Son of God.

Prayer is powerful, joy filled and restful abiding.

So you are either saying, "Yes".  Or
You are grumbling.

It all has to do with how you SEE IT.

Here is one of three keys to Prayer that when walked in should help you abide joyfully in Christ's grace and glory.

1) Habitation Presence -  The goal, rooted and established in the love of Jesus is,
"In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit". Ephesians 2:21-22

The Father is building us a habitation with him
In Revelation 21 everything culminates in God the Father's true desire.  We dwell with him again in perfect unity and love.  His presence becomes our very habitation.
We have new bodies that are eternal.  We dwell in a city of which God himself is the light.  We walk with him.  We see him as he sees us.  Face to face becomes a reality forever.   That is worth pressing into.

hab·i·ta·tion

/ˌhabəˈtāSH(ə)n/

noun noun: habitation, plural noun: habitations
This goal of the Father is emerging everyday in and through the Church.  He is bringing his dwelling place as he builds his Temple.
The Trinity created us in his image to abide in habitations of pure love, righteousness and power.  The Kingdom of the Lord Jesus is here and present.  With it comes the habitations of God.  God among us is the air of the atmosphere. He is in us by the Spirit.  We have the mind of Christ.  We are new creations in him.  We have total access through the blood of Jesus to boldly approach the throne of grace confidently.  We are part of the heavenly troop.  We are sons and daughters of God.   We are being built by him into a TEMPLE.  We are worship. (Rom 12:1-2)

Worship is not servitude.  It is intimacy with God.

As we welcome the presence of the Lord and learn that we are always abiding in it through grace and the power of the Spirit.   We welcome the habitation of God.  We welcome him and he dwells among us because this is the ultimate goal and desire of the Father's heart.
It is essential to unlock the doors of power in habitation.  God is longing to dwell among us.  He is working to build us into a Temple in which Christ dwells by his Spirit.  He is actively working to bring us into conformity to the image of Jesus Christ.

How to encourage his habitation:

1) Exalt Jesus Christ and worship him in the fulness of his grace and glory.
Worship is about God.  It has everything to do with us agreeing with the truth, way and life in Jesus.  It is not focused on us.  It is all about the Majesty and inheritance in the Lord Jesus.   Colossians 2:6-7 points us to our understanding of the Lord.  Worship is truly an expression of our knowledge of God and our relationship with the Lord Jesus.  It is completely progressive and constantly growing.  It is dynamic and voice-filled.  Worship is thankful agreement in the love of God.  The amazing thing about God is when we enter into this praise and worship we find ourselves completely blessed by the grace, power and generosity of God.  We get overwhelmed by Him.  Being with you first love in dynamic and real encounter is beyond imagination.  There is nothing like it on earth.  It is available to us 24/7.  It is our inheritance to abide in the presence of Jesus as Son's and Daughters.  We are priests in the Lord's house.  Highly esteemed ministers of praise and adoration.

2) Believe the Scriptures. It's portrayal of reality, worship, the supernatural work of Jesus.  Jesus sets the standard for righteousness and truth in the universe.  We believe and therefore we speak. 2 Cor 4:13
But having the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, "I BELIEVED, THEREFORE I SPOKE," we also believe, therefore we also speak,
Believe the truth about God's present habitation and the power of the Kingdom.  His Kingdom is present in us.  We have everything we need in his promises and the victory of Jesus to overcome just like him.   We live in a dynamic and mystery filled universe in which heaven and earth are connected perfectly and powerfully in the work of Jesus Christ.  There is no division.  Heaven has invaded.  We welcome the Kingdom.  So welcome the Kingdom reality into everything you do.  Grow deeper in your understanding of the ways of the Lord and the heart of the Father.  The true and lasting reality is the Kingdom.  This "kingdom of the air" which the enemy rules is ending.  We are overcoming him in the power of the Spirit in the word of our testimony.   Worship is real time expression of the testimony of Jesus.  A sacrifice of praise from lips that confess his name.

3) Agree with the mind of Christ.
The renewing of the mind is key in the process of dwelling in his presence.  We think so much stuff that does not agree with Jesus, his work or his purposes in doing the Father's will.  The goal is to dismantle the hell in us for the heaven in the mind of Christ.  The more we fill up our mindset with the way, the truth and the life of the Lord Jesus, the more we find ourselves perceiving and abiding in his presence.
Start with your own ideas, attitudes and identity in the Lord.  Ask the Lord to search you and know you. (Ps 139)   Ask the Spirit to teach you and instruct you in the Lord's way and love. (John 16:12-14)    We are invited to approach the throne of God with confidence and assurance of faith.  Our hearts are clean before the Father through the blood of Jesus and repentance.  (I John 2:1-2)

Prayer and worship are the very heart of what happens in heaven moment to moment.  We are invited into a life that flows from the throne of God.  We tend to see what we think we can see.  Jesus sees everything as if it was daylight.
