Testimonies. The Love and Compassion of Jesus Touching People

Love and Compassion always point us in the right direction for the Kingdom of God.   We get to touch the life of the one in front of us.
The Father already has plans in his heart for them.  We get to watch his love be poured out!   What JOY!
Dead men rise in Christ

Here are some testimonies from the past few weeks of living in His joy and love.

I've been overseas.  I've ministered again at home.
One thing is standing out very clear.

The Kingdom of God is same everywhere.
It has no boarders.
It is not locked to a country, a culture.
It is filled with the Love of God and the power of God.
The things that happen in and through it reflect the heart of the Father,
the Saving Power of Jesus and the wealth of joy and peace in the Holy Spirit.
We welcome and receive it.   Simple.

Here are three stories of his love. Wait no Four Stories.
Simple engagements and encounters with God from the past few weeks.
In truth there are more.  From praying for a job and peace to healing and people encountering God in his wonders.

Saturday - Redmond OR - 03/15/15  USA!
As part of a group of 12 being equipped for evangelism and sharing the love of God, I went out with a dear friend to knock on doors, let people know the church was here for them, and to bring the Kingdom in healing, deliverance, salvation and love through Jesus.
We prayed for many people.  Peace for believers who had encountered deaths in the family, older people who were now alone as spouses had gone on to be with the Lord.   We were not welcomed to pray for alot of healing except for one home.  A woman in her 40's welcomed us.  We listened to her story of how she landed in Redmond from New York.  How her family was here but not doing great.  How she knew the Lord but was alone and not connected to a church family.  We were talking at the door of her home.  When we asked if we could pray for her she invited us to come in.  We stepped into the home and began to ask her about what was really happening in her life.  She told us her son was sick. And that she had pain from arthritis and a few other things.   We asked is we could pray for her and for healing.  She said yes.  I asked if I could hold her hand while we prayed as her fingers were in pain from arthritis.  We started asking the Lord to touch her; to fill her with a witness of the Father's love for her.  Touch her body and free her from the pain.  She started crying.  She became overwhelmed by the Father's love.  We continued praying as this is not unusual to see when God touches people.  I continued praying for her healing.  The love of God was coming in waves to her and she continued to cry.  I asked her if she was ok?  She nodded, put her hand to her mouth and more tears.  I asked her if the pain was gone in her hands.  She focused on her hands and then burst out, more tears, nodding her head that it was not there anymore.   We rejoiced at the love of God.    We invited her to fellowship.  We will be going back to check on her.
We carry the Kingdom of God - Jesus sent the 72 out to say, "The Kingdom is present among you"

Sunday  - Uganda 02/28/2015

This little one in the picture received a new yellow dress as part of the clothing give away in Uganda.  A woman in Redmond sows hundreds of garments for children and missions to give.  Just give her fabric and she sows and sows in her retirement.  That is a wonderful retirement for Jesus.  I wish more American's would see their latter years as freedom to serve Christ and not spend more time on themselves golfing, fishing, or whatever.  Heaven lasts forever and most of us have a pretty good life.  Think into eternity and use your time wisely.

This little girl broke my heart.  She was sick.  She recently had surgery.  Crying throughout most of the day.  Her mom was doing her best.  She was definitely discouraged by the sickness and the lack of her baby eating.    I kept praying for the little one every time I had a chance.   Anthony Kinalwa, our Ugandan pastor friend, sent me this follow up regarding this baby.

"One of the them, amazing. the baby you praised for, this baby was operated her mouth, she had pain, and also her healthy was not
good at all, she could not eat well.
But now the mother came this week
for our bible study smiling and praying God
The health of the baby 's well now"
Anthony Kinalwa, Kampala Uganda

All this is part of the Kingdom of God. We have it freely and we give it away freely.  It is so simple to welcome what Jesus wants to do in someones life and simply let love and compassion flow.   Luke 10 - Sending of the 72.  Read that and see what Jesus sent them to do and bring.  What resources they had to do it with.   Anyone who is given over to Jesus carries this Kingdom!

Love and Compassion always point us in the right direction for the Kingdom of God to touch the life of the one in front of us.   The Father already has plans in his heart for them.  We get to watch his love be poured out!  OH What JOY!

Saturday - Redmond OR 03/15/15  USA!
Here is a video testimony from a member of the team sharing the gospel on the streets of Redmond this past weekend.    How this person was touched and encouraged.   Enjoy.

It is amazing how the Love of God is expressed in so many ways.  The Kingdom of God is as active and alive in Redmond, OR USA as it is in Kampala, Uganda.  Because God's Spirit is everywhere on the globe loving and freeing people into the glory of Jesus Christ.

Friday - Redmond OR 03/14/15  USA!
The church purchased something from Wal Mart and we went into pick it up. It was an internet purchase that was sent to the store.  We connected with the sales person and were waiting while the item was being brought up front for us.  I asked the sales person if they knew the Lord Jesus. They said they did.  We rejoiced and started talking.  We asked how things were going for them.  They told us not so great.  We said, "why?"   The sales person told us they came to work and ran out of gas in the parking lot.  They were on shift all day with a dead phone and they were not looking forward to the end of work when they would have to try and sort out getting gas and getting home.  They also told us they had no money for gas anyway.   So, it was fairly obvious what was needed.   We told him we would return with a gas can full of gas shortly so he could get home after work.   We did return with a gas can and some funds for him to fill the tank.  He went out to the car with us and we hung out till he filled the tank.  We gave him the new gas can and some funds to fill up his tank.   Fun how Jesus can bless his people.      I just marvel at the opportunities to show his love.

Christ Healing the Blind Man", Oil by El Greco
These testimonies are not unusual.  They are usual.  The Saints that went out this past weekend and the ones who went to Uganda are not unusual.  They are usual people.  It is the Kingdom of God -  The Son of God, Jesus Christ, the WAY, the Truth, The LIFE that takes us usual people and pours his love and power on the world through us.
We are so in love we want to see others touched by Jesus.  That's all.
American Christians may have their eyes on the wrong things.  We tend to attain what we desire.
Praise of men?  Praise of God?
Known of Men?  Known of God?
Who we know?  Knowing God?

What do you need the Lord to do for YOU!

Jesus asked the blind man this question.  Luke18:35-43

"What would you like me to do for you?

"Lord, I want to see," he replied.

Jesus said to him, "Receive your sight; your faith has healed you."

Go and see what you have!
Go and ask what you want Jesus to do for you.

I have good news.  ALL this is yours in Christ Jesus!   And his open invitation.....
