Breaking deception requires discernment.
To break the hold of deception and refresh the Saints in the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, requires a true wisdom and discernment.
Often the Jezebel becomes like a mist or smoke. Disappearing just when we think we clearly see it's actions and distortions, our doubts often replace the certainties of discernment in the Spirit.This is a tactic of deception. Once a Jezebel spirit is recognized and the confrontation begins, this principality seeks to go silent, go quiet, hide in plain sight.
Discernment?
Often we couch spiritual war in psychological terms and into categories of relational and personal brokenness. We tolerate the conflicts and disruptions as disagreements of doctrine and equality, differences of opinion and purpose.
And so we suffer the losses over and over. Are we running away in fear while we perpetuate the deception into the next spiritual community?
The Jezebel is much more than we perceive or discern.
Looking at the perpetual cycles of spiritual conflict, of churches in conflict, of people moving from church to church, ministry to ministry, always looking for something to scratch the itch while never achieving empowered victory in the Holy Spirit, along with the accompanying lack of transformational victory and personal healing, is it time to look more deeply into the cycles and discern in the Spirit the behind the scenes realities?
Time to dig deeper. Time to uncover the truth in the confusion?
Spies rely on cloudy assumptions, status quo and confusion.
Is the church really perceptive of demonic activity and well versed in wisdom?

For all kinds of reasons, we typically avoid the pressing and challenging troubles of our faith.
When we considering every battle a personal trial, we may never arrive at a fuller understanding of grace and revelation in the Lord Jesus. There is a war in motion, vast and violent. A war for minds, hearts, truth, and purity. A War for the joyous government of the Lord Jesus and the fullness of his blessings. Jezebel hides in the shadows of such battles, pushing, molding, enticing, entrapping any and all.
Can our faith in the goodness of people and the possibilities of discipleship cloud our discernment of subtle darkness?
Abortion. Political righteousness. Unity of the Saints. Walking in a supernatural lifestyle. Perpetuating and flourishing in first love. And the debilitating effects and realities of the Jezebel spirit attack as well as disruptive spiritual warfare realities, seem to be the last resort point of prayer, study, spiritual learning, and ekklesia family understanding. And yet, these are the point of the arrow, the point of contact with the Enemies of the Gospel, the antichrist spirit, the strongholds of culture and time.
The Jezebel reality is hiding in our weaknesses; weaknesses of spiritual discernment, natural instead of supernatural perceptions of the church (ekklesia) and the limited power of endurance to wage spiritual warfare.
Discerning of spirits is a critical gift of the Holy Spirit, one that is in great demand in this present time and season.
Principalities never simply walk up and present themselves. Nor do they cease their stronghold building pursuits with a little opposition from the Saints. Skirmishes do not defeat strongholds. Battles do. Intention mixed with faith and Holy Spirit leading is required to crush strongholds on a government level. Intensely focused prayer and prophetic grace are needed to crack the walls of deception and dillusion. Focused unified prophetic prayer, these are the very things the Jezebel seeks to strip from the faithful.
The most destructive deceits are often the most elusive. And as CS Lewis argued, the Devil loves it when people don't even believe he exists.

The other is to believe and to feel an excessive and unhealthy interest in them. They themselves are equally pleased by both errors and hail a materialist or a magician with the same delight."C.S. It is no wonder the church is overrun with the Jezebel spirit.
Really you say? Is this true? Based on what?
Let's have a look.
Pornography and sexual brokenness have invaded the church, the ministry, the very fabric of worship (Gay ministers, Billion dollar porn industry, pastors abusing children, adultery and fallen leaders to name a few). Jesus clearly points to the outcomes of an environment heavily influenced by the Jezebel, sexually immorality is free flowing. (Revelation 2:20)
The prophetic ministry, though validated and wonderfully equipped, is not welcome in many places, and false prophets abound. The church is not openly despising prophecy, rather passive-aggressively simply not advancing it or welcoming it on any level of power. (I Corinthians 14:1; I Thessalonians 5:20; Revelation 19:10)
Abortion offers millions on the altar of self-love. The government of God, vested in five ministries (Ephesians 4:11-13), is little understood, rarely manifest in unity and service and fragmented in its presentation and ministry to regional groups of Saints.
Jezebel is a governmental attack, focused on holding back or eliminating the foundation of the church - apostolic and prophetic ministers (Ephesians 2:20). Taking down worship, prayer, prophetic ministry, and distorting the Saints into idols and sexual immorality,
the Jezebel principality brings a wide swath of apathy and spiritual emptiness in the form of strongholds that wear down faithfulness and cause forgetfulness of deep revelation.
Then when confronted, this evasive spirit evaporates like a mist into hiding and holding ground until a more opportune time. A perfect scenario for discouraging discernment and the perceptions of wisdom and revelation.
Where did it go?
We gladly let the controversy and pain fade without dealing with the underlying reality --- spiritual pergamum in the church.
We are in such a time.
Confronted, the Jezebel is now a mist. A smoke that fades and causes us to second guess ourselves.
Did we perceive this correctly? Are we taking this way too seriously?
Ok, so let's look at the qualities, discern the spiritual realities.
1. Are the prophets thriving and the prophetic ministry moving in the Holy Spirit in strength and grace - empowering the people to love and good deeds? In your church, region.
2. Is the apostolic ministry thriving, the ministry of sending. The ministry that launches the Kingdom Gospel and the church out into the world with power and signs and wonders?
3. Is the Bride being equipped in the fivefold gifts and empowered for service and love in manifest signs of the Spirit?
4. Have we overcome the vast and completely debilitating reality of sexual immorality that cripples the ekklesia?
This principality is cunning. Like a covert operator, this demonic presence, which oversees a host of demonic strongholds, is like a vapor evaporating into thin air after delivering devastating blows to the church.
We’ve wined and dinned the population on
weak spiritual commitments, an abundance of commercial benefits
and minimal realities of the rule and reign of Jesus Christ.
In the present climate of political and spiritual unrest, it is time we threw down the Jezebel and equipped the ekklesia of Jesus Christ to stand in strength and endurance. We need to tap an overcoming spiritual power in the Holy Spirit and the boundless and abundant victory of Christ's finished work in the CROSS, RESURRECTION, and ASCENSION. Ruling and Reigning is the real call of the called out ones. II Timothy 2:12
It is time to throw down the Jezebel and all the corresponding strongholds. Its time the church learns to STAND in and through spiritual warfare as a family, exercising the depth and power of the Holy Spirit and the redemptive prophetic grace of the ekklesia.
Time to see the cycles of disunity, unrighteous and Pergamum relationships, polluted worship and the silencing of the prophetic grace ended. The Jezebel spirit is directly linked to such realities.
Take a step back into action. Take a step back into your Kingdom authority in Christ. Take back what is foundational and stand in the seasons of confusion and disruption.
